The absorption level varies depending on the model of WOOMFLO menstrual underwear you choose. Currently, we offer two absorption levels: medium and heavy.

The shorty is designed for medium or heavy flows and can absorb the equivalent of 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 regular or pads. For very heavy bleeding, we recommend using additional protection.

Your menstrual undies work like regular panties! So, you can refer to your usual size.

It's simple: there is 3 golden rules to follow to take good care of your WOOMFLO menstrual undies!

Step 1: Rinse it with cold water or soak it for a maximum of 30 minutes for heavier flows.

Step 2: Machine wash at 30°C without fabric softener, conditioner, or stain remover (you can wash your panties with your other dark clothes); or hand wash without greasy soap. Ideally, we recommend using detergents for delicate or baby clothes such as soap nuts.

Step 3: Air dry in the shade = Do not dry your Menstrual undies in a dryer, neither directly under the sun as heat can damage the technical fabrics of your menstrual panties! During monsoon, you can dry it inside under a fan.

How to properly use your menstrual panties?

Step 1: Fitting
Make sure the size of your Woomflo fits you by trying it over your underwear. If everything is perfect, you can move on to step 2!

Step 2: Washing (before use) by hand or machine
⚠️ Maximum 30 degrees!
We recommend washing your underwear twice for better absorption. Then air dry in the shade.

Step 3: Utilization
Put on your panty ! If it's your first time with menstrual panties, it's ideal to try them at home / in a place where you feel comfortable. This will boost your confidence for the cycles to come!

Step 4: Adjustment/Optimization
The duration of use of menstrual panties varies depending on your cycle, flow, and daily life. So it's best to test and adapt. If you suffer from heavy periods, we recommend using your Woomflo with additional protection.
