Woomflo currently offers panties in two different absorbencies. The one with the two crescent moons marking for medium to heavy flow and the one with three crescent moons marking for heavy to super heavy flow.
We suggest you use the one with the three-crescent moon (heavy to super heavy) for nights and heavy flow days.

To prevent leaks, ensure your menstrual panties fit properly and are suited to your flow. The panty should be snug against your body, with the gusset in full contact with your vulva. Change your panty when you start feeling damp, and choose the right absorbency for your needs. If you’re new to menstrual panties, try wearing them at home first to get comfortable. You can also start off wearing WOOMFLO menstrual panties on the lighter flow days to develop confidence.

It's completely fine if you can’t wash your menstrual panties immediately. If you're at work, changing late at night, or simply don't have time, you can set the panty aside (for a few hours)until you're able to wash it. When you're ready to clean it, we recommend soaking it in cold water for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly to help remove any residual fluids. This helps keep the fabric in good condition and ensures a proper clean.

We ensure that all materials used in crafting WOOMFLO menstrual panties are toxic free. Our WOOMFLO panties consist of three carefully chosen fabrics known for their effectiveness: a cotton layer next to the skin, followed by an absorbent layer and a waterproof membrane to prevent leaks. Guaranteed to be genuinely (truly) comfortable.

Definitely! Our period panties are meant to be worn solo, so you won't need extra pads or tampons. But hey, it's all up to you!
Some folks like pairing our undies with other period gear, like using them as a backup to a menstrual cup. So, do what feels right for you!

We recommend giving your panty a good rinse in cold, running water. It's perfectly hygienic to wash your period panties with your other laundry once you have rinsed the panty and the blood is washed out, don’t worry, your other clothes will be just fine! Once the blood is washed out, your undies won't stain or discolor any other items in the machine. So, feel free to toss them in with your regular laundry without any worries.

Strong odors often arise when blood interacts with synthetic materials like plastic. It's the chemical reaction between our blood and the components in sanitary pads or tampons that can lead to those potent scents you might notice.

But here's the good news: You shouldn't think of your menstrual blood as something smelly or embarrassing! When blood meets natural fibers like cotton, the smell is much milder and more neutral.

You can wear your WOOMFLO for 6 or 8 hours to almost 10 hours without any issues, depending on your flow.

Hey, it all boils down to your flow, what you prefer, and how often you can do laundry. But to get you started, we suggest having at least 4 undies with different absorbency levels to cover your entire cycle. For an even smoother ride, go for 6 to 7 undies!

To easily find the panty that suits your flow in your drawer, we've created a discreet symbol on our panties. You can identify the absorption level of your WOOMFLO panty based on the number of crescent moons printed on the back. 2 moons = medium to heavy flow, 3 moons = very heavy flow.

Actually, no! Unlike tampons, pads, and some menstrual panties, your WOOMFLO do not contain silver nanoparticles or harmful chemicals. Because we care about your health, we made the choice to go with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified fabrics and accessories only. It is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. And all our products are compliant with REACH.

Your WOOMFLO can accompany you for between 2 and 3 years! Certainly more but it’s too early to promise it you. The key to making your WOOMFLO last as long as possible is to take good care of them - with love and a soft laundry detergent - and not to damage their technical fabrics with overly aggressive drying methods. (Check the washing instructions for more details).

Yes, it's always a good idea because our undies go through a lot during the manufacturing process and packaging in our cotton potli bags.
We recommend washing your WOOMFLO panties at least twice (minimum once) before the first wear. This helps activate the technology in the lining for maximum absorbency.

It's quite simple: there are 4 golden rules to follow to take good care of your WOOMFLO menstrual panty.

Step 1 Wash your WOOMFLO 2 times (minimum 1) before the first wear. This will activate the technology in the lining for maximum absorbency.

 Step 2 After used: Rinse it with cold water or soak it for a maximum of 30 minutes for heavier flows.

 Step 3 Machine wash at 30°C (now or later) without fabric softener, conditioner, or stain remover (you can wash your panties with your other dark clothes); or hand wash without greasy soap. Ideally, we recommend using detergents for delicate or baby clothes such as soap nuts. 

Step 4 Air dry in the shade = Do not dry your Menstrual undies in a dryer, neither directly under the sun as heat can damage the technical fabrics of your menstrual panties! During monsoon, you can dry it inside under a fan.

Reuse. Repeat. Easy done.

In case you cannot wash your panty immediately after use, you can set it aside for a few hours (only-not days!). Whenever you choose to wash your panty remember to soak it in cold water for a few minutes before you rinse off the blood and follow the above- mentioned steps.

The easiest way to decide is to opt for the least oily soaps and detergents. This means avoiding glycerin and soda-based soaps, as well as oily soaps that can clog the pores of the technical part, leading to reduced absorbency in the panty.
Also, ensure you refrain from using fabric softeners, conditioners, or stain removers during machine washes, as these can harm the technical fabrics. Ideally, consider using soap nuts or a detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics or baby clothes.
